Cleaning Supervisor
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead our growing team. You will oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple short-let properties in Malta and Gozo, ensuring every turnover meets our hotel-standard quality. This is a hands-on leadership role — you will inspect properties, train new cleaners, manage schedules, and step in to clean when needed.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and coordinate a team of cleaners across multiple properties daily
- Conduct quality inspections after each turnover clean
- Train new team members on CleanerPlace cleaning standards and checklists
- Manage daily schedules and assign cleaners to properties based on bookings
- Handle last-minute changes and same-day service requests
- Communicate with property managers about any issues, damages, or special requests
- Track linen inventory and ensure supplies are stocked across all properties
- Step in to clean properties during peak periods or staff shortages
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, hospitality, or team supervision
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Leadership ability — you can motivate a team and maintain high standards
- A valid driving licence (you will travel between properties)
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Comfortable using a phone for scheduling and communication
- Calm under pressure, especially during peak tourist season
Location Requirement
This role is based in Malta. You must be living in Malta or willing to relocate to Malta to take up this position. We operate across all areas of Malta and Gozo, and you will be assigned to properties in your local area.
Residency Permit Support
If you are relocating from outside the EU, don't worry — we will support you with any residency and work permit applications. We have experience helping team members through the process and will guide you every step of the way.
