Area Manager
The Role
We are looking for an Area Manager to own the performance of a cluster of properties and the relationships with the clients behind them. You will be the face of CleanerPlace for the property managers in your area — making sure their properties are guest-ready every day, resolving issues fast, and looking for ways to grow the relationship. This is a senior client-facing role for someone who blends operations with relationship management.
What You'll Do
- Own the day-to-day performance of a cluster of short-let properties
- Build and maintain direct relationships with property managers and owners
- Conduct regular client check-ins and quarterly account reviews
- Coordinate with Cleaning Supervisors and QC Supervisors on standards in your area
- Resolve client escalations quickly and professionally
- Spot opportunities to expand services within existing accounts
- Onboard new properties into the CleanerPlace operation
- Report area performance, retention, and growth to the leadership team
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years in account management, property management, or hospitality operations
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and resolve issues calmly
- Strong commercial awareness and a service-first mindset
- A valid driving licence — you will travel across your area regularly
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Comfortable working with operations and CRM tools
- Self-starting, accountable, and confident representing the company to clients
Location Requirement
This role is based in Malta. You must be living in Malta or willing to relocate to Malta to take up this position. We operate across all areas of Malta and Gozo, and you will be assigned to properties in your local area.
Residency Permit Support
If you are relocating from outside the EU, don't worry — we will support you with any residency and work permit applications. We have experience helping team members through the process and will guide you every step of the way.
